Shamine King is a cartoonist and comic artist based in Singapore. In 2014 she graduated with a Bachelor of Honours in 2D Animation from LASALLE College of the Arts, in collaboration with Goldsmiths, UK. She was nominated as top student in the college, and received the prodigious McNally Award. She currently works as Junior Concept Artist and Storyboard Artist at Ubisoft, Singapore.

Shamine has lived in five countries, and is internationally mobile. She is open for freelance work and commissions. She is a Singaporean Permanent Resident as of 2006.

Having had her fill of angsty, dramatic art in high school, she since prefers producing upbeat art, and enjoys making people laugh with her comics and characters. Art has been her passion for as long as she can remember, and she is prolific about it. Rarely without her sketchbook, she draws each day to better herself not just technically, but also in her storytelling abilities.
